The tour tells of its founder, Supreme Court Justice C. L. David, and the museum's establishment -- and not least about the wide range of arts and crafts that he collected.
C.L. David developed a special interest in Danish and European earthenware and porcelain. In order to put this part of the collection in relief—and to cultivate a collector's area that was unique in a Danish context—ceramic objects from the Islamic world were soon also acquired. Thus, the foundation stone is laid for a third, important part of the assembly.
